Pressing Buttons provide biggest donation yet…

Pressing Buttons have been supporters of APTF since they first launched their initiative that created a safe dance space for young people in 2019. Each event space was supported by the unique writeups of their DJs and what mental health means to them, showcasing local artists in relation to their creation of wellbeing via art and each attendee donning a QR wristband directly linked to the pressing buttons website full of wellbeing related resources and services, and donating proceeds from every one of their events to our services.

Through the planning and running of 6 events, Pressing buttons, their Djs and supporters have now raised over $13,000 for A Path To Follow. That money has seen several young people gain peer support, families of young people supported and APTF peer workers trained.
Thank you Ben, Ryan and all who support them.
Keep creating conversations.

Youth Peer Support Program

There was a time, very recently, where we thought that we might have to “shelve” our Youth Peer Support Program.  It seems that perhaps that was a premature call and we are glad we didn’t make it.

With increased interest we have chosen to expand our program to cover as much as the greater Melbourne area as we can. We are currently recruiting young adults, all with living or lived experience in mental health related challenges to support those young people in need over the summer period.

Take a sneak peek at just a couple of our peers below and then watch our website and socials for their bios, which are coming soon.
